Lining and repair of a mill
in Germany with WEICON WAL04

► Amount of aluminium oxide used in the grinding mill: 1100 kg WEICON CBC
► To ensure additional walkability and slip resistance of the foundation, stone granulate with a grain size of 0.6 – 0.8 mm was applied as a final layer
► Several working steps were required to achieve the casting height of 8 cm

► For the new gate design, an adhesive was needed that is suitable for bonding aluminium to aluminium
► During initial bonding trials, the components were already powder-coated except at the bonding surfaces
► In future, the uncoated components are to be bonded first and then powder-coated afterwards
